Philosophy:
The Friars Point Elementary staff is dedicated to encouraging and enabling each student to achieve at his or her maximum potential. This is evidenced in our mission statement: “Our mission is to meet the needs of all children in a safe and orderly environment, bridge the gap between home and school thereby creating productive citizens." We recognize the necessity of ensuring a safe, orderly and positive environment within which all students can learn. We also accept the responsibility of sharing with the home the task of developing the highest standards of moral conduct in our students. Parental support and consistency among teachers and administrators are essential ingredients to developing personal responsibility among students. We believe that all students can behave responsibly and respectfully toward everyone.
